Nick's path to tattooing wasn’t a straight line, but rather a journey shaped by his love of art, music, and a bit of serendipity. Growing up in a creative household—his mom a graphic designer and his dad an architect—Nick was always immersed in the world of art. But it wasn’t until 2008, while playing in a band, that Nick first became exposed to the world of tattoos. His bandmates had recently started tattooing and watching them work on each other before practice was particularly fascinating. Inspired by the process, he made a bold decision: to leave college and fully commit himself to tattooing.

Nick soon found an apprenticeship in the shop where his bandmates worked, and it didn’t take long for him to realize that tattooing wasn’t just a fleeting interest—it was his true calling. His background in fine arts and graphic design gave him a solid foundation for the intricate, ornamental style he’s now known for. Nick’s tattoos merge bold lines, geometric patterns, and dotwork, creating designs that are visually striking and harmonious with the body. These elements reflect both his artistic influences and his dedication to craftsmanship.

What truly sets Nick apart, however, is the meaningful connections he builds with his clients. I love being part of someone’s journey and knowing that the art I create will be with them for life, he says. For Nick, tattooing is a collaborative experience, with each client bringing their own vision and story to the table. He carefully crafts custom designs that flow with the body’s contours, ensuring that each piece feels like a natural extension of the person wearing it.

One of the most memorable moments in Nick’s career came when he tattooed the guitarist from Between the Buried and Me, a band whose music had been a major influence on him. Tattooing backstage at a concert, he was reminded of how the worlds of music and tattooing often intersect—both forms of art that leave a lasting impression. "It was surreal to work on someone whose music had inspired me for years," Nick reflects. Experiences like this have only deepened his commitment to tattooing, reinforcing the belief that both art forms have the power to connect people on a deeper level.

Now, Nick is pushing his boundaries even further with his most ambitious project yet: his first full-body suit. This challenge represents a new chapter in his career—one that will take years to complete but will leave a profound mark, not just on his client, but on Nick's journey as an artist. He’s excited to take on the challenge, knowing it will test his skills and ultimately define a new milestone in his career.
