Spring’s in the air, tattoo season is picking up, and we’re closing out Women’s History Month with a well-earned nod to all the incredible women in this community—artists, collectors, and supporters alike.

It’s officially tattoo season, and our top SKUs prove it. Warmer weather means more fresh ink, more aftercare needs, and a shift in what people are buying. Soothing Gel is a must-have for healing, Tangerine Vanilla Balm is locking in that vibrancy, and the Tattoo Lovers’ Kit is giving people the full routine.
 
But don’t forget—SPF season is here, too. Sun exposure is the fastest way to fade a tattoo, so it’s time to start recommending SPF 30 while people are stocking up.

Cedrik’s tattoo journey started in his dad’s basement at just 17, tattooing oranges while watching online tutorials. By 18, he was fully committed to the craft, landing a true apprenticeship. “I fully committed when I was 18, getting a true apprenticeship in a tattoo shop.”
 
Art has always been Cedrik’s passion. “Drawing was the reason I got into tattooing. It’s one of the only things I’ve truly enjoyed doing.” His dedication led to an incredible opportunity—his first guest spot at Old Crow Tattoo in California, a pivotal moment in his career. “It was a seven-hour flight from home, but an incredible learning experience. I met so many amazing artists, and it pushed me to grow as an artist.”
 
Now, Cedrik’s style is deeply influenced by Korean blackwork. “I’m a big fan of Korean blackwork, which is where my style is mainly inspired from!” But what drives Cedrik most is the bond he builds with his clients. “The thing I love most about being a tattoo artist is how much trust people put in me. Seeing their reaction at the end of a session—knowing they’re going home feeling better about themselves.”
 
Cedrik’s advice for aspiring artists is to stay true to their craft, no matter what others say. “Don’t let close-minded people put you in a box. Pursue the style you love, even if it seems ridiculous. There’s a niche for everyone.”
 
Cedrik approaches each tattoo session with care. “I take about 30 minutes to review the project with the client before starting, making sure we’re aligned on design, size, and placement. It’s all about getting it right for each individual.”
 
Looking ahead, Cedrik’s got exciting things on the horizon, including a guest spot in San Francisco. “I have so many amazing projects lined up for my time there, it’s hard to pick just one to focus on!”
 
When it comes to his favorite Mad Rabbit product, Cedrik swears by the Tattoo Glide. “It’s such a big upgrade from Vaseline. It’s super handy while tattooing.” What he loves most about representing Mad Rabbit is knowing he’s part of a brand he truly believes in. “I’ve been recommending it to my fellow artists and clients because it’s a brand I actually use and trust.”

2025 Conventions: Baltimore Recap

Another convention in the books—and this one was BIG. The Baltimore Tattoo Convention was packed with incredible artists, jaw-dropping ink, and some of our best moments yet.
 
Huge congrats to @jordi_bfc for taking home Best in Show with a mind-blowing 26+ hour piece, packed with high-contrast, color-splashed perfection.
 
Mad Rabbit Pro Artists Pony Lawson (@ponylawson), Medz (@medztattoos), and Katherine Vargas (@woahkat) showed up and showed out alongside incredible talents Shana (@wewontbesaved) and Camz (@euphorink_). 
 
Pony tatted an awesome Bart Simpson tattoo AND picked up a fresh bandaid tattoo from Shana—colorful, bold, and clean. 

We had people screaming for our giveaways—literally. The energy was insane, and we made sure to hook up attendees with some next-level aftercare. 

Our co-founder Selom even made a special appearance—closed one sale, then took a well-earned nap.

 
The momentum is real, and we’re keeping it rolling into Chicago this weekend. Can’t wait to see you there!
